The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Namobuddha Municipality, Kavrepalanchok District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Namobuddha Municipality had total population of 29,519 with male 13,604 (46.09%) and female 15,915 (53.91%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 18,384 (62.28%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 8,882 (30.09%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 2,253 (7.63%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 11,135 (37.72%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 8,402 while children below 5 years of age were 2,170, which is equivalent to 258 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
