Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Siddhalek Rural Municipality, Dhading District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Siddhalek Rural Municipality, Dhading District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Siddhalek Rural Municipality had total population of 33,729 with male 10,965 (32.51%) and female 12,764 (37.84%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 13,604 (40.33%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 8,283 (24.56%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 1,842 (5.46%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 10,125 (30.02%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 6,486 while children below 5 years of age were 2,071, which is equivalent to 319 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
