Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Kushe Rural Municipality, Jajarkot District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Kushe Rural Municipality, Jajarkot District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Kushe Rural Municipality had total population of 20,621 with male 10,407 (50.47%) and female 10,214 (49.53%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 10,528 (51.05%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 9,597 (46.54%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 496 (2.41%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 10,093 (48.95%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 4,562 while children below 5 years of age were 3,227, which is equivalent to 707 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
