The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality, Dhading District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality had total population of 31,475 with male 15,660 (49.75%) and female 15,815 (50.25%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 17,457 (55.46%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 12,237 (38.88%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 1,781 (5.66%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 14,018 (44.54%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 7,535 while children below 5 years of age were 3,484, which is equivalent to 462 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
