UK Chief of General Staff Smiths pays courtesy call on President Bhandari
Chief of General Staff of the United Kingdom, Mark Carleton Smith paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday. Chief of General Staff Smith is here in the town on a four-day visit.
Similarly, Smith also met with Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa today itself, according to Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepal Army.
A contingent of Nepal Army had offered a guard of honour at Army Headquarters in honour of Smith. He will visit Nepal Army’s Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre at Panchkhal and Pokhara to during his stay in Nepal.
