NC passes condolence motion on Sherma’s demise

An emergency meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee held at Party Office, Sanepa, today passed a condolence motion, expressing deep sorrow on the demise of former central committee member of NC and former minister, Purna Kumar Sherma.

The meeting held under chairmanship of NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba extended condolences to the bereaved family of late Sherma. The NC also decided to lower party’s flag at half-mast for three days from today at the central party office and all district offices in honour of late Sherma.

Similarly, central party office and party offices of all districts would be closed on March 15. A condolence assembly would be organised in the centre and at all district on the 13th day of the death of Sherma.
