House panel’s direction for completion of postal highway

Chairperson of Development and Technology Committee under the House of Representatives (HoR) Kalyani Khadka has directed the stakeholders to complete the construction of Kailali section of the postal highway in the given deadline.

The parliamentary team and local representatives led by Khadka arrived in Kailali and made onside visits of the roads construction job. The team visited Basanta area of Kailari Rural Municipality, Lalbojhi embankment at Bhajani Municipality, Thekipur Bridge and Satti Bridge and instructed the concerned authorities to intensify the construction works.

The team comprised committee member Asha Kumari BK, HoR Kailali-3 member Gauri Shankar Chaudhary, former lawmaker Madan Kumar Shah, Tikapur Municipality Mayor Tapendra Bahadur Rawal, Kailari Rural Municipality chair Lajuram Chaudhary, Bhajani Municipality mayor Sher Bahadur Chaudhary among others.

Following the inspection, Chiarperson Khadka shared that though the tasks of road construction were completed, the construction of bridges along the road sections were still in limbo.
