House Design Ratios Piechart of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Kaski District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Kaski District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Pokhara Metropolitan City had foundation as cement bonded with total number of 75,897 (54.22%) houses, while foundation having rcc piller were 33,877 (44.64%) houses. Rest of house foundations were mud bonded (29,049), wooden piller (446) and other types or except listed here (423). With respect to the house wall, most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 79,551 (75.86 %) houses, while second most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 22,978 (21.91%) houses. Remaining houses had other types or except listed here (1,425), bamboo (475) and wood planks (373) wall. Similarly, there were 55,795 (53.24%) houses that had roof type as rcc followed by 45,735 (43.64%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as tile (1,857), thatch (1,108), other types or except listed here (234), wood (75) and mud (1). In total, 98,061 (93.18%) houses had flush toilet while 6,475 (6.15%) houses had ordinary toilet and 698 (0.66%) had no toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
