House Design Ratios Piechart of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City, Dhanusa District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City, Dhanusa District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City had foundation as cement bonded with total number of 27,641 (64.68%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 7,026 (25.42%) houses. Rest of house foundations were rcc piller (2,559), mud bonded (2,320) and other types or except listed here (177). With respect to the house wall, most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 20,015 (66.83 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 7,120 (23.78%) houses. Remaining houses had mud bonded (1,960), wood planks (653) and other types or except listed here (105) wall. Similarly, there were 14,791 (49.59%) houses that had roof type as rcc followed by 11,530 (38.65%) houses having roof type as tile. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (2,327), galvanized (926), wood (218) and other types or except listed here (37). In total, 13,210 (43.97%) houses had flush toilet while 9,463 (31.50%) houses had no toilet and 7,372 (24.54%) had ordinary toilet.
