House Design Ratios Piechart of Barahatal Rural Municipality, Surkhet District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Barahatal Rural Municipality, Surkhet District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Barahatal Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 1,885 (187.53%) houses, while foundation having wooden piller were 1,822 (96.66%) houses. Rest of house foundations were cement bonded (44), rcc piller (17) and other types or except listed here (2). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 3,498 (64.54 %) houses, while second most houses had wood planks wall with total number of 1,628 (30.04%) houses. Remaining houses had cement bonded (214), bamboo (78) and other types or except listed here (1) wall. Similarly, there were 4,260 (78.67%) houses that had roof type as thatch followed by 869 (16.05%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as tile (139), mud (81), rcc (42), wood (21) and other types or except listed here (3). In total, 2,368 (43.65%) houses had no toilet while 1,774 (32.70%) houses had flush toilet and 1,283 (23.65%) had ordinary toilet.
