Thuli Bheri is a Municipality, which is located in Dolpa district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Thuli Bheri has total 11 wards, which are scattered across 421 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Thuli Bheri Municipality had total population of 8,370.

As of 2011, 23 population in Thuli Bheri Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 0.27 percent of the total population. Absence of males was 16, which equals to 0.38 percent of total 4,196 males. Same as, 7 females were absent, which equals to 0.17 percent of 4,174 females. At least one member of 18 (0.95 percent) households were absent.

In terms of age, the largest population in Thuli Bheri Municipality were between 5 and 9 years of age with total 1,139. Gender wise, top 5 most age groups male population were between 5 and 9 (580), below 4 (552), between 10 and 14 (497), between 15 and 19 (419), and between 20 and 24 (357), with total population of 2,405. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (18), above 75 (28), between 65 and 69 (53),between 60 and 64 (84), and between 55 and 59 (124), with total population of 307. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were below 4 (562), between 5 and 9 (559), between 10 and 14 (531), between 15 and 19 (467), and between 20 and 24 (405), with total population of 2,524. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (24), above 75 (26), between 65 and 69 (62),between 60 and 64 (95), and between 55 and 59 (97), with total population of 304.

The population with age-group 55 to 59 had male to female ratio of 1.28, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group 70 to 74 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.75. The age-groups 55 to 59, 50 to 54, 35 to 39, 45 to 49, 30 to 34, 40 to 44, above 75, 5 to 9, 25 to 29 had majority of male population while age-groups below 4, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

There were 58.28 % (4,878 ) of independent population, the working age people between ages of 15 and 64 years. The dependent children, ages below 15 years, were 39.20 % with total number of 3,281. The dependent elderly population, aged 65 and above were 2.52 % with total number of 211. As such, total dependent population including children and elderly people were 41.72 with total number of 3,492

There were 2,083 women of child-bearing age-group of 15 to 49 years. Same as, the todlers or children of 4 years or below were 1,114. The ratio of woman of child-bearing age and the number of todlers state that, approximately 535 children were born per 1,000 women. This number is also roughly used as fertility levels when direct measures of births are not available.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 783 in Thuli Bheri Municipality with 347 (44.32%) of males and 436 (55.68%) females. There were total 27 schools. In average, 29 students were studying in each school.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Thuli Bheri Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Chhetri caste with total population of 5,637. There were as little as Yadav caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Thuli Bheri are Thakuri, Kami, Brahmin - Hill, Sarki, Magar, Damai/Dholi, Tamang, Gurung, Newar, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Tharu, Thakali, Muslim, Yadav, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Top five castes of people in Thuli Bheri Municipality are Chhetri (5,637), Thakuri (917), Kami (798), Brahmin - Hill (218) and Sarki (202) with total population of 7,772, which forms 92.86 percent out of total population of 8,370 in Thuli Bheri Municipality.

Out of total population of 8,370, there were total 298 (3.56%) disabled persons in Thuli Bheri Municipality with 142 (47.65%) males and 156 (52.35%) females. The physically disabled persons were 87, while mentally disabled people were 1 and intellectually disabled were 13.

Similarly, there were 55 people who were blind and 70 people were deaf, while 12 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 39 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 21 people had multiple disabilities.

Out of total 1903 households in Thuli Bheri Municipality, there were 1,870 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 5 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 1 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 20houses were founded on wood.

With respect to wall of the houses, 1,853 houses were mud bonded, 14 houses were cement bonded, 23 houses were wood planks bonded, 0 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 4 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 106 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 12 houses had roof of tile, 6 houses had RCC roofs, 19 houses had roof of woods while 1,747 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

With respect to the toilets, 442 out of 1,903 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 1,162 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 297 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

In Thuli Bheri Municipality, there were total 1,623 houses, which were equiped with piped tap water resources while 0 houses were reported of having tubewell water facilities. Same as, 0 houses had covered well while 1 houses didn't have any cover on their tubewell. Other resources of water facilities were spout water (234) and river stream (42), which were reported of the household's source of water.

With reference to source of fuel, 1,880 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 12 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 6 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (0), bio-gas (2), fuel electricity (1), etc.

Same as, total 1,162 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 37, while 280 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.61.

out of 1,903 households in Thuli Bheri Municipality, 504 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 1,341 households reported of using at least one facility. Households using at least one facility, such as radio, television, internet, etc. have been illustrated in the table below.MobilePhone was used by the maximum households with total users of 1,048, while Radio was the next mostly used facilities with total household users of 519.

According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 283 establishments in Thuli Bheri Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,327 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 650 and female engagement of 677 persons.In every business, there were an average of 4.69 people engaged with average males are 2.30 and females are 2.39. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 0.96, which means as many as 0.96 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
