Morang – 7 | 1999 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 46,046 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Morang District, Constituency No. 7. The candidte of Nepal Sadbhawana Party - Badri Prasad Mandal secured 15,634 (33.95%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Miss Shailaja Acharya of Nepali Congress Party who secured 12,125 (26.33%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Badri Prasad Mandal and Miss Shailaja Acharya was 3,509. All other candidates secured 18,287 (39.71%) votes.

As illustrated in the pie-chart above, the candidates who lost the election secured 30,412 (66.05%) votes as compared to votes secured by elected candidate Badri Prasad Mandal, which was 15,634 (33.95%) votes.
