Manang Nesyang is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Manang district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Manang Nesyang has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 695 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Manang Nesyang Rural Municipality had total population of 2,222.

As of 2011, 62 population in Manang Nesyang Rural Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 2.79 percent of the total population. Absence of males was 28, which equals to 2.32 percent of total 1,205 males. Same as, 34 females were absent, which equals to 3.34 percent of 1,017 females. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 65 and 69 (29), between 70 and 74 (30), above 75 (32),between 60 and 64 (38), and between 55 and 59 (50), with total population of 179. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were between 20 and 24 (92), between 25 and 29 (84), between 35 and 39 (82), between 10 and 14 (82), and between 15 and 19 (79), with total population of 419. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 65 and 69 (40), above 75 (41), between 45 and 49 (45),between 50 and 54 (45), and between 70 and 74 (46), with total population of 217.

The population with age-group 25 to 29 had male to female ratio of 1.69, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group 70 to 74 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.65. The age-groups 25 to 29, 45 to 49, 20 to 24, 30 to 34, 50 to 54, 15 to 19, 5 to 9, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 10 to 14 had majority of male population while age-groups below 4, above 75, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 201 in Manang Nesyang Rural Municipality with 88 (43.78%) of males and 113 (56.22%) females. There were total 9 schools. In average, 22 students were studying in each school.

There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 0 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 62 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 3 houses had roof of tile, 0 houses had RCC roofs, 80 houses had roof of woods while 444 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

With respect to the toilets, 247 out of 593 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 240 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 105 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

In Manang Nesyang Rural Municipality, there were total 568 houses, which were equiped with piped tap water resources while 0 houses were reported of having tubewell water facilities. Same as, 0 houses had covered well while 0 houses didn't have any cover on their tubewell. With reference to source of fuel, 590 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 1 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 1 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (0), bio-gas (0), fuel electricity (0), etc.

Same as, total 579 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 12, while 0 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.98.

out of 593 households in Manang Nesyang Rural Municipality, 110 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 477 households reported of using at least one facility. According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 177 establishments in Manang Nesyang Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 668 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 429 and female engagement of 239 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.77 people engaged with average males are 2.42 and females are 1.35. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.79, which means as many as 1.79 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
