Bheemdatta is a Municipality, which is located in Kanchanpur district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Bheemdatta has total 19 wards, which are scattered across 172 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bheemdatta Municipality had total population of 104,599.

As of 2011, 7,125 population in Bheemdatta Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 6.81 percent of the total population. Absence of males was 6,001, which equals to 11.75 percent of total 51,087 males. Same as, 1,117 females were absent, which equals to 2.09 percent of 53,512 females. At least one member of 4,424 (21.39 percent) households were absent.

In terms of age, the largest population in Bheemdatta Municipality were between 10 and 14 years of age with total 13,665. Gender wise, there were 7,100 males and 6,565 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was between 70 and 74 with total 1,571 population, which consistes of 783 males and 788 females. Top 5 most populated age groups were between 10 and 14 (13,665), between 15 and 19 (13,098), between 5 and 9 (11,640), between 20 and 24 (10,690), below 4 (8,839) with total population of 57,932. In contrast, bottom 5 least populated age groups were between 70 and 74 (1,571), above 75 (1,821), between 65 and 69 (1,990), between 55 and 59 (2,831), and between 60 and 64 (2,918) with total population of 11,131. Gender wise, top 5 most age groups male population were between 10 and 14 (7,100), between 15 and 19 (6,748), between 5 and 9 (6,269), below 4 (4,720), and between 20 and 24 (4,668), with total population of 29,505. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (783), above 75 (860), between 65 and 69 (966),between 60 and 64 (1,377), and between 55 and 59 (1,384), with total population of 5,370. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were between 10 and 14 (6,565), between 15 and 19 (6,350), between 20 and 24 (6,022), between 5 and 9 (5,371), and between 25 and 29 (4,869), with total population of 29,177. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (788), above 75 (961), between 65 and 69 (1,024),between 55 and 59 (1,447), and between 60 and 64 (1,541), with total population of 5,761.

The population with age-group 5 to 9 had male to female ratio of 1.17, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group 25 to 29 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.70. The age-groups 5 to 9, below 4, 10 to 14, 15 to 19 had majority of male population while age-groups 50 to 54, 70 to 74, 55 to 59, 65 to 69, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 60 to 64, above 75, 35 to 39, 30 to 34, 20 to 24, 25 to 29 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

There were 62.21 % (65,073 ) of independent population, the working age people between ages of 15 and 64 years. The dependent children, ages below 15 years, were 32.64 % with total number of 34,144. The dependent elderly population, aged 65 and above were 5.15 % with total number of 5,382. As such, total dependent population including children and elderly people were 37.79 with total number of 39,526

There were 29,828 women of child-bearing age-group of 15 to 49 years. Same as, the todlers or children of 4 years or below were 8,839. The ratio of woman of child-bearing age and the number of todlers state that, approximately 296 children were born per 1,000 women. This number is also roughly used as fertility levels when direct measures of births are not available.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 21,273 in Bheemdatta Municipality with 9,911 (46.59%) of males and 11,362 (53.41%) females. There were total 132 schools. In average, 161 students were studying in each school.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bheemdatta Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Chhetri caste with total population of 33,902. There were as little as Pahari caste with population of as little as 11 in total. Top five castes of people in Bheemdatta Municipality are Chhetri (33,902), Brahmin - Hill (26,480), Thakuri (10,014), Tharu (8,613) and Kami (6,869) with total population of 85,878, which forms 82.10 percent out of total population of 104,599 in Bheemdatta Municipality.

Out of total population of 104,599, there were total 1,361 (1.30%) disabled persons in Bheemdatta Municipality with 765 (56.21%) males and 596 (43.79%) females. The physically disabled persons were 529, while mentally disabled people were 122 and intellectually disabled were 15.

Similarly, there were 281 people who were blind and 153 people were deaf, while 26 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 134 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 101 people had multiple disabilities.

Out of total 20684 households in Bheemdatta Municipality, there were 3,270 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 12,005 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 935 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 4,009houses were founded on wood.

With respect to wall of the houses, 2,637 houses were mud bonded, 13,301 houses were cement bonded, 2,501 houses were wood planks bonded, 1,409 houses were bamboo bonded and 94 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 1,682 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 920 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 4,608 houses had roof of tile, 12,423 houses had RCC roofs, 96 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

With respect to the toilets, 6,697 out of 20,684 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 12,129 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 1,640 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

In Bheemdatta Municipality, there were total 4,531 houses, which were equiped with piped tap water resources while 15,184 houses were reported of having tubewell water facilities. Same as, 59 houses had covered well while 63 houses didn't have any cover on their tubewell. Other resources of water facilities were spout water (155) and river stream (77), which were reported of the household's source of water.

With reference to source of fuel, 12,238 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 148 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 5,059 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (33), bio-gas (2,920), fuel electricity (11), etc.

Same as, total 17,737 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 2,326, while 115 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.86.

out of 20,684 households in Bheemdatta Municipality, 1,823 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 18,529 households reported of using at least one facility. Households using at least one facility, such as radio, television, internet, etc. have been illustrated in the table below.Bicycle was used by the maximum households with total users of 15,209, while MobilePhone was the next mostly used facilities with total household users of 14,042.

According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 4,610 establishments in Bheemdatta Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 14,114 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 9,976 and female engagement of 4,138 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.06 people engaged with average males are 2.16 and females are 0.90. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.41, which means as many as 2.41 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
