There were 38,279 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Arghakhanchi District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepali Congress Party - Dhundi Raj Shastri secured 19,862 (51.89%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Pitambar Bhusal of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) who secured 14,485 (37.84%) votes and came in second position.
