Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Narpa Bhumi Rural Municipality, Manang District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Narpa Bhumi Rural Municipality, Manang District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Narpa Bhumi Rural Municipality had total population of 538 with male 258 (47.96%) and female 280 (52.04%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 372 (69.14%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 125 (23.23%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 41 (7.62%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 166 (30.86%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 145 while children below 5 years of age were 26, which is equivalent to 179 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
