The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality, Siraha District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality had total population of 26,913 with male 13,528 (50.27%) and female 14,526 (53.97%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 15,371 (57.11%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 11,250 (41.80%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 1,433 (5.32%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 12,683 (47.13%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 6,791 while children below 5 years of age were 3,244, which is equivalent to 478 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
