Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, Bara District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, Bara District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City had total population of 117,496 with male 58,725 (49.98%) and female 58,369 (49.68%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 70,514 (60.01%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 42,163 (35.88%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 4,417 (3.76%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 46,580 (39.64%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 30,893 while children below 5 years of age were 11,425, which is equivalent to 370 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
