Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Makwanpur District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Makwanpur District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City had total population of 152,875 with male 74,964 (49.04%) and female 77,911 (50.96%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 100,509 (65.75%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 44,138 (28.87%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 8,228 (5.38%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 52,366 (34.25%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 45,248 while children below 5 years of age were 11,274, which is equivalent to 249 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
