Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Chaurjahari Municipality, Rukum_W District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Chaurjahari Municipality, Rukum_W District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Chaurjahari Municipality had total population of 27,438 with male 12,995 (47.36%) and female 14,443 (52.64%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 15,195 (55.38%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 11,301 (41.19%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 942 (3.43%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 12,243 (44.62%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 7,160 while children below 5 years of age were 3,025, which is equivalent to 422 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
