The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Bahradashi Rural Municipality, Jhapa District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Bahradashi Rural Municipality had total population of 33,653 with male 15,710 (46.68%) and female 17,943 (53.32%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 20,626 (61.29%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 11,093 (32.96%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 1,934 (5.75%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 13,027 (38.71%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 9,665 while children below 5 years of age were 3,165, which is equivalent to 327 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
