Amargadhi municipality in Dadheldhura district has deployed health workers to the doorstep of the locals to take stock of the health condition of the foreign returnees in the villages here.<\/p>\n
In a bid to observe precaution to help contain the outbreak of COVID-19, the municipality sent the health workers who would examine the health condition of those staying in the self-quarantine. The health workers are also raising awareness about the deadly infection, informed municipality chief of health section, Ganesh Bista. The health workers were also distributing masks to the people here.<\/p>\n
The municipality is also spraying disinfectant in the public places in the district headquarters besides coordinating efforts with the locals, police administration and local representatives to strictly enforce the lockdown.<\/p>\n
Likewise, Ward no 10 and 11 of Amargadhi municipality which received the highest number of returnees from India have been kept in utmost alertness. \u2018Self-quarantine\u2019 is being strictly implemented here that one cannot visit another\u2019s house, informed Amargadhi municipality mayor Bishweshwor Prasad Ojha.<\/p>\n
