As a result, people who are in the need of regular medication have not been able to visit health facilities. Lockdown has relatively affected more people like them.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is more intense in remote villages. But, amidst this adversity, two health institutions at Machhapuchhre rural municipality in Kaski district have been making available required medicines to such patients and locals either at their doorsteps or nearby location. Social distancing has been practiced to distribute the medicines.<\/p>\n<p>Lwanghalel Health Post and Siding Community Health Unit are importing essential medicines from accessible pharmacies and Pokhara and making supplies to the locals. They take the demand details through social Messenger, Viber and phone contacts. &#8221;Local representatives and health workers are working in collaboration to make sure the essential medical supplies,&#8221; said Lwanghalel Health Post chief Anand Baral.
