{"id":3605,"date":"2020-04-05T20:50:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-05T15:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/04\/05\/covid-19:-over-1,500-persons-undergo-tests-in-kharipati-quarantine\/"},"modified":"2020-04-05T20:50:00","modified_gmt":"2020-04-05T15:05:00","slug":"covid-19-over-1500-persons-undergo-tests-in-kharipati-quarantine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/04\/05\/covid-19-over-1500-persons-undergo-tests-in-kharipati-quarantine\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19: Over 1,500 persons undergo tests in Kharipati quarantine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The COVID-19 test of 94 people kept at Kharipati-based Nepal Electricity Authority Centre is found negative.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Spokesperson of Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikas Devota, the lab test of all who were kept in the quarantine was negative.<\/p>\n<p>They were airlifted from different countries last month following the outbreak of COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Of them, 49 individuals had returned home from the UAE and Qatar by Thai Airways aircraft while 13 by Air India and few others returned from different countries.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, 175 students airlifted from Wuhan of China were also kept in the same quarantine and had returned home after their lab tests.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Devkota added that 1,529 were tested for COVID-19 and nine were found positive so far.
