Srijana Tamang, 22, of Aiselukharka rural municipality-3 is receiving treatment at Paropakar Maternity and Women&#8217;s Hospital at Thapathali, said Tamang&#8217;s husband Ganesh Tamang.<\/p>\n<p>She was rescued on a Nepal Army helicopter. Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen Parbat Gurung directed transportation of the woman as the country goes under lockdown over coronavirus crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, Tamang was admitted to the primary health centre at Aiselukharka in Khotang after she suffered excessive bleeding since Friday evening. The health facility referred Tamang to a hospital, said assistant health worker Nirmala Sharma.<\/p>\n<p>The President&#8217;s Women Upliftment Programme under the Ministry, which has been carrying out free helicopter rescue of pregnant and nursing mothers, will bear the expenses of the transportation of the woman.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Minister Gurung directed doctors at the maternity hospital to ensure full treatment of the expecting mother.
