{"id":3380,"date":"2020-03-22T22:44:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-22T16:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/03\/22\/govt.-takes-responsibility-for-citizens'-health:-cm-rai\/"},"modified":"2020-03-22T22:44:00","modified_gmt":"2020-03-22T16:59:00","slug":"govt-takes-responsibility-for-citizens-health-cm-rai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/03\/22\/govt-takes-responsibility-for-citizens-health-cm-rai\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt. takes responsibility for citizens&#8217; health: CM Rai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Minister of State-1 Sherdhan Rai reassured that the State Government will take responsibility for the health of citizens in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The CM said so while inaugurating 200-bed quarantine set up in total 100 tents by the State -1 government and Suryadal Battalion of Nepal Army at Miklajung Rural Municipality-4 in Morang district on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>CM Rai also pledged to provide free medical treatment to those from State-1 reported with COVID-19. Furthermore, he shared that surveillance would be stepped up for the movement of people in the border points in the State to prevent COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, construction of a 50-bed isolation ward in State -1 had been accelerated so as to prepare it within a week. Citizens from the third countries would be barred from entering Nepal via border points in the State, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The government would render free treatment to anyone detected with COVID-19 at the designated quarantines.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, Suryadal Battalion&#8217;s Lieutenant Colonel Raghu Poudel assured that those quarantined in the makeshift quarantine would be provided free healthcare services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Minister of State-1 Sherdhan Rai reassured that the State Government will take responsibility for the health of citizens in the state.
