{"id":3337,"date":"2020-03-17T16:52:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-17T11:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/03\/17\/health-desk-set-up-at-lakeside\/"},"modified":"2020-03-17T16:52:00","modified_gmt":"2020-03-17T11:07:00","slug":"health-desk-set-up-at-lakeside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/03\/17\/health-desk-set-up-at-lakeside\/","title":{"rendered":"Health desk set up at Lakeside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City has established a health desk at Lakeside, Pokhara, to prevent spread of coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Mayor Manju Devi Gurung said that the health desk was established at Barahichowk of Lakeside for health alertness as Lakeside is the main tourism site.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of Pokhara Metropolis Health Division, Hemant Sharma, shared information that health workers would provide awareness-related information including symptoms of coronavirus, measures to be safe from it.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Pokhara metropolitan city has already established health desk at Pokhara airport. People&#8217;s representatives of different wards of Pokhara metropolitan City and social organisations have accelerated public awareness programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Director at the State Health Directorate, Binod Bindu Sharma, said a 80-bed isolation ward has been set up in Gandaki state to prevent COVID-19 infection and 12 committees have been formed for treatment preparation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City has established a health desk at Lakeside, Pokhara, to prevent spread of coronavirus.
