The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Rajiv Thakur of Parwanipur municipality-2, Bara.<\/p>\n<p>The incident took place when a passenger bus (state 1-01001 kha 3464) hit a scooter (state 3-02014 pa 1446). Thakur, who was pillion riding the scooter, was seriously injured in the accident and died in course of treatment at the Old medical college hospital in Chitwan.<\/p>\n<p>The scooter rider Srisav Devkota,22, of Bharatpur municipality-10 was injured and is undergoing treatment at the same medical college hospital, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Yek Narayan Koirala.<\/p>\n<p>The bus driver has been taken into custody for necessary action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A person has died in a road accident that took place in Bhandara of Chitwan last night.
