As a result, construction of roads, bridges and public buildings is affected, said Om Kumari Shahi, vice chairperson of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>However, development works in the lower belts in the district including Rukumkot, Syalapakha, Pokhara, Khabang and Lukum are ongoing, she said.<\/p>\n<p>Generally, development works start when after the beginning of the summer season, as the locals of the mountainous areas during the season descend towards lowlands to escape cold.<\/p>\n<p>Construction works at the National Agriculture Research Centre at Maring were affected due to snowfall, said Man Kumari Bista, vice chairperson of Maring Rural Municipality.
