The Gorusinge-Sandhikharka road, the major road that links Arghakhanchi to the East-West Highway, is to remain closed for nine hours each day beginning from today. This system would be in place until March 28.<\/p>\n
The eight kilometres road from Sandhikharka to Bhuwanpata will see no operation of vehicles for nine hours for upgrading works.<\/p>\n
An all-party meeting held at the District Administrative Office, Arghakhanchi earlier agreed to go with a road improvement project, bearing in mind congested turning point and increasing traffic flow here.<\/p>\n
The road will be closed in two shifts: from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Chief District Officer Bijay Raj Poudel said.<\/p>\n
The road section is known as a ‘danger zone’ due to the numerous bends and narrow passages. It will be of two-lane after the upgrading.<\/p>\n
Sandhikharka-Saljhandi, Ghumti-Tansen and Dhanchaur-Amrai routes are to be used as alternative routes during the closure of Gorusinghe-Sandhikharka road section.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
