During the courtesy meeting, DPM Pokharel recalled extending invitation to Indian Defence Minister Singh last week and expressed his confidence over the prospect of Singh&#8217;s visit to Nepal.<\/p>\n<p>Indian ambassador Kwatra extended his gratitude for the invitation extended to the India&#8217;s Defence Minister for Nepal visit and pledged to facilitate on his part for the same, according to the Spokesperson at the Ministry of Defence Santa Bahadur Sunar.<\/p>\n<p>DPM Pokharel, at the onset of the meeting, said that Nepal and India share cordial and friendly ties and bonding at cultural, geographical, historical and people-to-people level. He also underscored the need to further strengthen the multidimensional ties between the two countries and make it in tune with the changing times.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that the military ties between Nepal and India were also very good and cooperative, the DPM extended his gratitude for the support of India for the socio-economic development endeavors of Nepal.<\/p>\n<p>The Indian envoy also said that India and Nepal shared a strong bond from government to government and at people to people level.
