{"id":2702,"date":"2020-02-18T16:01:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T10:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/02\/18\/na-sends-two-bills-to-house-panel-for-clause-wise-deliberations\/"},"modified":"2020-02-18T16:01:00","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T10:16:00","slug":"na-sends-two-bills-to-house-panel-for-clause-wise-deliberations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/02\/18\/na-sends-two-bills-to-house-panel-for-clause-wise-deliberations\/","title":{"rendered":"NA sends two bills to House panel for clause-wise deliberations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A meeting of National Assembly (NA) today decided to send the &#8216; Corruption Prevention (First Amendment) Bill, 2076 BS&#8217; and the &#8216;Yogamaya Ayurved University Bill, 2076 BS&#8217; to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise deliberations.<\/p>\n<p>Newly-appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahangphe presented the &#8216;Corruption Prevention Bill&#8217; on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli while the &#8216;Yogamaya Ayurved University Bill&#8217; was presented by Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada, proposing them to send to the respective committee for further procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, NA secretary Rajendra Phuyal tabled the &#8216;Nuclear Bill, 2075 BS&#8217; in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>In the beginning of the meeting, NA chair Ganesh Timilsina read out a letter informing the Upper House about the re-constitution of the Council of Ministers.<\/p>\n<p>Annual reports of the Judicial Council and Judicial Service Commission of the fiscal year 2075-76 BS were presented in the meeting.
