{"id":2630,"date":"2020-02-21T07:23:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T01:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/02\/21\/new-species-of-bird-found-in-chitwan\/"},"modified":"2020-02-21T07:23:00","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T01:38:00","slug":"new-species-of-bird-found-in-chitwan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/02\/21\/new-species-of-bird-found-in-chitwan\/","title":{"rendered":"New species of bird found in Chitwan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new species of bird &#8216;Purbiya Fulbari&#8217; was found at Chitwan National Park in Nepal.<\/p>\n<p>According to ex-President of Bird Education Society Chitwan and bird expert Basu Bidari, Society&#8217;s member Raju Tamang found the new species of bird on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Bidari further shared that the bird has entered Nepal through Mangolia, Japan and India among others to ward off cold.<\/p>\n<p>Though the aquatic bird was first found in Nepal&#8217;s Koshi Tappu and West Nepal it is the first time that the bird was spotted in Chitwan, he shared.<\/p>\n<p>The bird however goes back to Mangolia and Japan to incubate, lay and hatch eggs.<\/p>\n<p>With the detection of new one, the number of birds species found in Chitwan has reached 641.
