{"id":2629,"date":"2020-02-21T08:22:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T02:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/02\/21\/four-areas-identified-for-nepalgunj's-prosperity\/"},"modified":"2020-02-21T08:22:00","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T02:37:00","slug":"four-areas-identified-for-nepalgunjs-prosperity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/02\/21\/four-areas-identified-for-nepalgunjs-prosperity\/","title":{"rendered":"Four areas identified for Nepalgunj&#8217;s prosperity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four commercial areas have been identified to contribute to the economic development of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis.<\/p>\n<p>With the technical assistance of German government, the sub-metropolis has identified vegetable, fruits, food processing and milk (dairy) as top commercial points through a 11-day workshop.<\/p>\n<p>The sub-metropolis came up with the move as part of its Local and Provincial Economic Development Project.<\/p>\n<p>In a bid to boost local economy and garner strengths to overcome imminent risks, the commercial areas have been identified, Nepalgunj mayor Dr Dhawal Shumsher Rana said.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed readiness on part of the sub-metropolis to extend any type of assistance towards promoting trade and entrepreneurship in the town.<\/p>\n<p>He further shared that the sub-metropolis has floated a plan to set up economic promotion department in Nepalgunj to help germinate new entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four commercial areas have been identified to contribute to the economic development of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis.
