It has also reduced the budget for employees&#8217; salary.<\/p>\n<p>The reduction was made in the amended budget tabled for the current fiscal year 2076\/77. Deputy Mayor Mira Joshi presented a budget of Rs. 1.44 billion in the 32nd municipal assembly meet that began on Friday. The 31st assembly had passed a budget of Rs. 1.23 billion for the current fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>As per the amended budget estimates, the municipality has decreased the daily tour allowance for people&#8217;s representatives by four hundred thousand and dearness allowance for employees by three hundred thousand.
