The support was provided for the ongoing construction of the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The cheque was handed over at the Mahayagya organised to collect funds for the Stadium. A delegation led by the rural municipality chair Geeta Kumari Gurung, vice-chair Kirti Kumar Shrestha and Chief Administrative Officer Sukdev Lamsal handed over the financial support.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The support was made as we felt it is also our duty to assist the construction of a prestigious project in our Chitwan district,&quot; Chair Gurung said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the rural municipality has also formed a committee to collect funds for the construction of the stadium.
