{"id":2225,"date":"2020-01-31T15:17:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-31T09:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/01\/31\/condolence-motion-passed\/"},"modified":"2020-01-31T15:17:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-31T09:32:00","slug":"condolence-motion-passed-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/01\/31\/condolence-motion-passed-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Condolence motion passed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A condolence motion on the demise of former lawmaker Gambhir Jung Karki was presented in a meeting of the House of Representatives which was later endorsed by the session.<\/p>\n<p>Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota tabled the motion in the session.<\/p>\n<p>Karki has been elected to the House of Representatives from the Palpa Constituency 2 during the 1991 elections on a Nepali Congress seat.<\/p>\n<p>He has made significant contribution to the democratic movements in the country. He had passed away on January 25 at the age of 74.
