In a session of State Assembly of Gandaki State today, a bill relating to the establishment and operation of Gandaki State Academy of Science and Technology was presented.<\/p>\n
State minister for industry, tourism, forest and environment Bikash Lamsal tabled the bill.<\/p>\n
Speaking in the special hour of the meeting, SA member Rajib Pahari drew the government’s attention towards the completion of physical infrastructures under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG).<\/p>\n
Pokhara hosted nine games under the regional mega sports competition, he said, seeking the proper care, and utilisation of the structures built for the specific purposes.<\/p>\n
Meena Gurung sought the operation of health camps in the rural and village areas so as to ensure their rights to health. "Geographical remoteness is a challenge to ensure citizen’s right to health," she said.<\/p>\n
Another member Dhanamaya Lama demanded public holiday on cultural festivals which as she said are the identities of diversified Nepal.<\/p>\n
