{"id":1602,"date":"2020-01-16T08:05:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-16T02:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/01\/16\/first-nepal-kyokushin-kan-karate-championship-concludes\/"},"modified":"2020-01-16T08:05:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-16T02:20:00","slug":"first-nepal-kyokushin-kan-karate-championship-concludes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nepalarchives.com\/news\/2020\/01\/16\/first-nepal-kyokushin-kan-karate-championship-concludes\/","title":{"rendered":"First Nepal kyokushin-kan karate championship concludes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Gandaki state-level full contact and first Nepal Kyokushin-kan Karate Championship concluded in Dhungesanghu on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Nepal Kyokushin-kan Karate Association Kaski chapter organised the 19th Machhapuchhre Gandaki State-Level Full Contact and first Nepal Kyokushin-kan Karate Championship.<\/p>\n<p>With a slogan &#8216;Sports for health, sports for nation&#8217;, the championship started at Pokhara Stadium on January 14.<\/p>\n<p>In the championship, Shalin KC emerged winner in men&#8217;s category on 25-kg followed by Satkar Pratyal in second position and Pramesh Magar and Nasib Thapa in third position.<\/p>\n<p>In the 30-kg category, Rohan Acharya became winner while Abhisekh Tamang clinched second and Sobin Pratyal and Praneel Shrestha got third position.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Roshan Gurung, Rajan Pokharel, Rajesh Gautam, Yubaraj Gurung, Suman Baram and Govinda Roka clinched winner title on 35-kg, 40-kg, 45-kg, 50-kg, 55-kg and open weight categories.<\/p>\n<p>In women&#8217;s championship, Matrika Shahi became winner on 40-kg weight, Manisha Tamnang on 45-kg, Sargam Kumal on 50-kg and Yunika Sherchan on open category.<\/p>\n<p>Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Biswokarma and Kyokushan-kan Association central chair Binaya Malla, among others gave away awards and certificates to winner players.
