Fund being collected in Bagmati State for COVID-19

The Chief Minister, ministers, chief political advisor and staffers at the Secretariat in Bagmati have contributed from their salaries to the fund set up by the government for the prevention and control of COVID-19 and treatment of the infected.

Based on their ranking, they donated three, five and seven days’ salary to the Fund totaling Rs 764,077, shared chief accountant at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Devi Prasad Gautam.

The Federal government had established the Coronavirus Prevention and Control Fund with Rs 500 million as seed money. The Fund has so far collected more than Rs 10 million from the private sector.

Anyone willing to support the government’s fight against this deadly infection can chip in their contribution at the account maintained at the Rastriya Banijya Bank with account no 1300503000002, shared Gautam.
