Courts open for sensitive cases

Five district courts of then Karnali and Surkhet Jumla High Court of Karnali State have been open for the sensitive cases amid the nationwide lockdown enforced to contain the outbreak COVID-19.

The High Court has stated that the Court is open for emergency case such as for habeas corpus petitions.

The meeting of the Supreme Court held on March 20 had decided to suspend the regular services of the Supreme Court, High Courts, District Court and tribunals but would continue granting judicial remands to arrest accused ones in relation to various offences.
