Ambulance drivers provided with PPE in Nawalparasi

Considering the level of threat of COVID-19 outbreak, the ambulance drivers in West Nawalparasi district have been given personal protective equipment (PPE).

The District Health Office, West Nawalparasi said that all 25 ambulance drivers were handed over the PPE produced at the local level aiming to prevent the possible infection of COVID-19. The PPE were produced from the Sunwal Municipality.

Though the PPE stuffs produced here are not at par with the WHO standards, they are windproof and reusable.

Meanwhile, the State No. 5 has given 15 pieces of PPE to the West Nawalparasi district and they would be soon supplied to the local levels, Chief of District Coordination Committee Shiva Shankar Raya said.
