RJP-Nepal demands essential medical appliances for Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital

The Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal has demanded the government provide adequate medical appliances for the Birgunj-based Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital.

The Hospital which was established almost during the time of the setup of country’s oldest Bir Hospital does not have coronavirus test-kits. Nor does it have ventilator and CT scan machines. RJP-Nepal has drawn the attention of the Hospital to equipping with adequate medical tools and equipment as well as skilled human resources.

A press statement released by RJP-Nepal’s Joint General–Secretary Nizamuddin Samani claimed that both the federal and state governments had looked down upon the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital at the time of COVID-19 outbreak.

The press statement read, “These governments ought to be more considerate for the health security of the people in the Terai region.”

The RJP Nepal has also appealed to the State government for its fair and equal treatment to all eight district hospitals in the State and further equip them with medical appliances and human resources.
