House of Representatives meeting scheduled for April 5

The House of Representatives will convene at 1.0pm on April 5. The meeing of the Lower House of the Federal Parliament was earlier scheduled for 1.0 pm on March 26 and it has been postponed to April 5 due to the risk of coronavirus infection, the Federal Parliament Secretariat said.

The government has enforced a prohibition in all services except the essential ones throughout the country due to the risk of spread of coronavirus

The Speaker has determined April 5 as the date for the next meeting of the Lower House as the House could not meet due to the above mentioned reason, states a notice issued today by Federal Parliament Acting Secretary-General, Gopal Nath Yogi.
