Nepali theater groups to host drama festival through video

The Theater Mall, Kirtipur Theater Group and Theater Centre for Children are hosting ‘Quarantine Campaign Drama Festival-2076 BS’ via video to mark the celebration of World Theater Day on March 27.

Issuing a press release today, Kedar Shrestha, director of Theater Mall-Kirtipur Festival, informed that they are organizing the festival via video following enforcement of lockdown amidst the fear of the outbreak of COVID-19 infection.

The host has urged all participants to take part in the festival with the video of their respective dramas at 5.00 pm every day. A drama would be screened through video each day, stated the press release. The drama can be watched via theater mall’s facebook page.
