Publication of local newspapers closed in Dang

Publication of all daily and weekly newspapers published from Dang district has been closed owing to risks stemming from possible outbreak of COVID-19 even from newspaper copies.

Publishers of all local newspapers informed that they have closed down publication of newspapers as it emerged difficulty in taking printed copies to the doorsteps of clients due to lockdown and fear of possible transmission of coronavirus through the medium of newspapers.

However, local radio and FM stations have been airing news after closing many other programmes. Seven daily newspapers and a dozen of weekly are being published from Dang.

Nevertheless, all print media outlets have been disseminating news and information from online medium —-
