COVID-19: Free treatment with ambulance service

The Jaljala rural municipality is to provide free treatment along with ambulance service to those suspected of carrying the COVID-19 virus. The meeting of the executive on Saturday took a decision to this end, according to chairperson Yam Bahadur Malla.

Anyone suspected to be carrying the virus will be transported via an ambulance and receive free treatment covered by the rural municipality, Malla said.

Meanwhile, the rural municipality has urged all not to leave their homes except for essential work. The locals have also been urged to remain alert of their health condition, observe personal hygiene, avoid crowd and gathering, and adopt preventive measures, while go to the nearest health centre or contact the rural municipality of any symptoms of the virus infection is seen.

Likewise, the executive meeting on Saturday decided to suspend the Birat Gyan Mahayagya scheduled to be held from coming April 13.
