President contributes two months’ salary in Govt. Fund

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has announced to provide her two months’ salary in the ‘Coronavirus Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund’.

Issuing a press statement on Monday, the Office of the President said that President Bhandari would provide her two months’ salary in the Fund set up by the government for the prevention and control of the COVID-19.

Likewise, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has announced to contribute his one month’s salary in the Fund, Vice President Pun’s press coordinator Manoj Gharti Magar said in a press statement.

Vice President Pun has also asked one and all to bear patience and support the government initiatives to fight against the COVID-19 with high morale.
