50 isolation beds in Saptari

In a bid to stay away from Covid-19, Staptari district has prepared 50 isolation beds at different health facilities. The Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital has readied 10 isolation beds while Chhinnamasta Hospital and Unique Hospital have 20 beds each, according to District Health Office, Saptari.

Similarly, an observation ward with two beds has been prepared at a primary health centre of Tilathi Koiladi rural municipality-8. Officiating chief of District Health Office, Duniya Lal Yadav, further said the employees and service seekers at different offices were urged to mandatorily wash hand with soap before entering offices, and measure temperature. Informative message to raise public awareness on Covid-19 are also spread in the district, he added.

Even the efforts are on to set up quarantine at Saikrishna Medical College and Hospital of Rajbiraj to keep anyone infected of coronavirus or those suspected of it.

A joint team of representatives from the District Administration Office, Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, District Health Office, Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed Police, visited the area to set up quarantine.
