Govt urges all not to hasten in reserving foods

The federal government has urged one and all not to hasten in depositing edible food stuffs being over sensitive of possible outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
There would be no likelihood of food shortage in the present and in future as well, Ministry of Home Affairs said.
Issuing a press statement today, the Ministry of Home Affairs has clarified that there was no food shortage in the market adding black marketing could be surfaced if edible goods were disproportionally deposited.
The Ministry has urged all and sundry to report to the government if any wrongdoings were found taking place in the market. The Home Ministry has said though there might be possible outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nepal the government has adopted tough safety measures to get people saved from the pandemic.
The government has further urged all not to go in crowded places until and unless there was urgency.
Meanwhile, Salt Trading Corporation has clarified that there was no shortage of salt in the country. It has stated that salt reserve is already adequate to meet the needs of people in the country for upcoming 10 months.
